In the rising hub of fashion and design in Seoul's Seongsu-dong, Another Office's flagship store, Swallow Lounge, has opened its doors. Spanning a total of 264 square meters with soaring ceilings, Swallow Lounge operates as a men's edit shop. Alongside the café, vinyl shop, lifestyle products, it offers its in-house brand and a variety of imported brands from Japan, all available for sale.

Efforts were made to incorporate the neighborhood's distinctive features of Seongsu-dong, known for its old factory zones and car repair centers, aiming to bring an industrial sensibility. Following the concept of "novelty in familiarity," common materials found in everyday life were integrated into various parts of the space. Steel grating, easily visible from the street, was unexpectedly applied to the facade's ceiling and the interior's walls and furniture.

The facade design deliberately stripped away some tiles attached to the surface of the old building, exposing its original skin, retaining its raw essence. Upon entering, the rough exterior design starkly contrasts with the warm welcome of the café space crafted from oak plywood. To counterbalance the potential coldness of the interior metal properties and linear patterns, wood was introduced as a medium, creating a contrast while imparting a sense of warmth and balance.
